Junior Associate, Research

Job Description

The position is 100% research focused. You will work directly with BeckWay Group’s Associates and Directors to assist in search engagements within our Private Equity clients and their portfolio companies. You will work with on multiple search assignments simultaneously. You will be responsible for supporting search efforts through candidate sourcing and company research. Additionally, you will be responsible for assisting with proposal content development.

  • Support Talent Finders’ retained and contingent search engagements, primarily through candidate identification and company research, which includes developing accurate target lists and obtaining information on market influences and competition
  • Provide value added information on prospective candidates, including ability to direct Associates to most targeted outreach based on information obtained through identification process
  • Take a proactive role in the research start-up and search strategy processes by making recommendations on industries and companies to pursue for searches
  • Assist in producing search status reports to provide clients with updates on key candidates Compile PowerPoint presentations with research material for client proposals
  • Maintain and develop executive search and strategic recruitment software, Invenias. Input complete and accurate information on candidates into the database.
  • Collaborate with Associates and Directors to assess opportunities to improve database maintenance and search process

Qualifications

  • 0-2 years’ experience of research experience and basic business knowledge; preferred industry experience in recruitment, consulting, private equity
  • Consistent track record of successfully executing to desired results, meeting or exceeding expectations
  • Ability to work with autonomy
  • Synthesizes information quickly, and an articulate communicator that handles executive audiences well
  • Expert written communication skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel applications
  • Exceptional client service and interpersonal skills
